Nakagurumi

Also known as: 中黒礁 (Japanese)

On sunny days the shallow white sand gives the site the look of a southern island, which is why dive centres advise diving it at midday. An L-shaped cave holds a dense curtain of cardinalfish. Snappers, lionfish and boxfish are among the residents, and the brown alga Sporochnus dotyi grows here as well.
