Mana is easy to recognise from the water thanks to the ruins on the summit of the island. At the foot of the cliff a rocky spur heads south-west, continues underwater and ends in a wall with shelves, corners and small overhangs. Sulphur sponges grow almost up to the surface, and the cracks shelter octopus and scorpionfish. Local guides usually plan the deeper part of the dive along the outer wall first and then spend the rest of it working gradually up the broken slope into the shallows. Diving here is only possible with a dive centre that holds a national park concession.
