Mala Panitula

Mala Panitula is one of the nine zones of Kornati National Park where guided groups may dive. Its outer face falls away almost vertically and, according to SCUBAlife, reaches close to 100 m, far beyond the park's 40 m limit for recreational visits. The feature most divers come for is an overhang that starts at around 20 m and curves into an almost half-dome shape. Yellow gorgonians crowd the overhang and many animals shelter in the surrounding crevices. Below it lies a field of red gorgonians, and the magazine warns that reaching a sandy bottom means the dive has gone far too deep.
