Mile Marker 4
Also known as: La'aloa · La'-a-loa Bay
Mile Marker 4 is named after the road sign next to its entry on Ali'i Drive. Divers enter from a pebbly beach and swim south out of the bay, where a couple of canyons lead to an arch and a small lava tube with a chimney exit onto the shallow reef. The sand further out is home to freckled snake eels that show only their heads. At the southern end of the shallow reef a small wall drops away, where whitetip reef sharks and eagle rays hang off the edge. The bay is very shallow, so the site should not be dived at low tide or in a west swell.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
