Nisaleme Island

Where divers go in, at the northern or the southern tip, depends on which way the current runs. The walls fall away very steeply, and during fast tidal flow strong down-currents can form, so care is needed. The reward is open-water fish such as rainbow runners, giant trevally, dogtooth tuna and sharks.
