Lighthouse

Also known as: Light House

The dive starts on a slope of large table corals and whip corals a few hundred metres before the point of Gili Lawa Laut. Drifting along, divers reach two pinnacles that jut from the reef, where leaf scorpionfish, frogfish and schooling batfish live and groupers gather to spawn at the right time. The current can pick up at the point, where blacktip and white-tip reef sharks, Napoleon wrasse and giant trevally hunt. Red-tooth triggerfish and bumphead parrotfish are common, and the dive often ends in a coral garden where manta rays come to be cleaned.
