Koh Kong
Also known as: Rock Point · Kong Yai · Little Sail Rock · Koh Kong Yai
Koh Kong, which local divers call Little Sail Rock, is a rocky outcrop at the eastern end of Chaloklum Bay on Koh Phangan, only about five minutes by longtail boat from Chaloklum. A main pinnacle is surrounded by boulders, small walls with cracks and swim-throughs, and a sandy bottom, with depths going beyond 20 m. Tidal currents often run past the point, which is why sea fans grow here in greater numbers than at the other local sites, and the boulders and crevices hide plenty of fish. Visibility and current are hard to predict, so the site is dived when conditions allow, and divers should keep an eye on longtail boat traffic at the surface.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
