Haad Salad

Haad Salad is a small bay in the middle of Koh Phangan's west coast with a healthy, shallow coral reef just in front of the beach. Its hard coral formations draw butterflyfish, small groupers, coralfish, lionfish and cuttlefish, and the reef suits long, relaxed dives among a good range of hard corals. Dives stay shallow, with a maximum of about 14 m. The site is easy to reach by boat or from the beach and works well for beginners and night dives, while experienced divers who enjoy macro life also find it worthwhile.
