Haad Khom

Also known as: Khom Beach

Haad Khom is a small beach cove on the north coast of Koh Phangan, reached over the headland northeast of Chaloklum and lying between Chaloklum and Bottle Beach. The bay is sheltered from offshore wind and waves, which keeps its shallow reef in good shape. Hard and soft corals host black-spotted porcupinefish, titan triggerfish, goatfish, groupers, gobies, schools of small fish and turtles. Snorkellers can swim out to the reef from the beach, long-tail trips come over from Chaloklum, and dive schools from Chaloklum Bay visit the area. ScubaGo calls it a popular spot for beginning divers.
