Ral Island
Also known as: Rel Island
The coral garden around the island is calm and shallow, a typical third dive or a follow-up to the Deep Pete. It is packed with reef fish, including about six species of anemonefish, bumphead parrotfish and rabbitfish. On the sand and seagrass to the west, divers look for seahorses, frogfish, decorator crabs, pipefish, ghost pipefish, nudibranchs, flatworms and sometimes mimic octopus.
