Chicken Wreck
Also known as: M.V. Glaros · Glaros
The Glaros, a 60 m diesel refrigerator vessel, grounded outside Jeddah Creek on 20 November 1976 and sank two days later after its crew had been rescued. Its cargo of frozen chicken gave the wreck its name. It rests on its side, and its masts are covered in hard and soft corals and sponges. Sheltered between two reefs, it is considered a good first wreck for newer divers, while openings in the hull offer penetration for trained divers. Snappers, barracuda, lionfish, glassfish, groupers, moray eels and many pipefish are seen here.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
