Mbike Trawler

The trawler was scuttled on a sandy slope about twenty years before Nigel Marsh's visit and is now a colourful wreck. Lionfish, rock cods, groupers, hawkfish, angelfish and damsels gather on the wreck. Photographers come for the Nembrotha kubaryana nudibranchs, often seen in numbers on the deck. Mbike Island is a weekend getaway for Honiara residents.
