Ilha dos Meros
The island sits where the protected inner coast of Ilha Grande ends, so the sea here can get very rough. In return the marine life is rich: turtles, rays, lobsters, morays, wrasses, flounders and groupers are all reported. Visibility of 10 to 15 m is typical according to a diving magazine. The beach facing the island is only reachable by boat and is described as a good spot for both line fishing and diving.
