U-85
The submarine lies on its starboard side with its deck hatches open and the deck gun still pointing up. At the bow the outer hull is gone, exposing the pressure hull and torpedo tubes, and battle damage from Roper's gun is visible aft of the conning tower. Soft corals and algae cover the hull. The Labrador Current influences the site, so divers should expect strong currents, cool water and reduced visibility.
