Tug 2

Also known as: Tug II · Tug

The tug worked in the port of Port Louis before it was sunk for divers in the 1980s. It sits on sand at around 19 to 20 m, close to Snake Reef, and has no interior access. The wreck has become a dense artificial reef with many lionfish, leaf fish, groupers and nudibranchs. A colony of garden eels lives in the surrounding sand. Its modest depth makes it a common choice for Open Water divers practising buoyancy and for macro photographers.
