Harrison Cove

From the shallow gravel area the bottom slopes at about 45 degrees over mud and sand, broken by rocks that carry some black coral. Dogfish and sevengill sharks are regular, which is why the site is described as sharky. Spiny seadragons, a prized find in Milford Sound, have often been seen here at 6 to 8 m. Butterfly perch and jock stewarts round out the fish life.
