The Wall
Also known as: Bus Stop
The site is reached via a fishermen's path through the grass and a rocky entry, so it is best avoided in surge or waves. Beyond a swim of more than 100 m the gentle slope turns into a steep wall rich in cup corals, soft corals and sea squirts. Small reef sharks, blue ribbon eels, flutefish and schools of fusiliers are seen here. Wikivoyage calls it a great night dive, when the wall glows with the polyps of nocturnal corals. Three large bommies at 3 to 6 m near the entry, with a big tasselled scorpionfish, make a good safety stop.
