Dirt Track

Also known as: Whale Shark Point

The reef carries a huge diversity of fish, and the eastern end has interesting topography with large cracks and crevices. Pelagics sometimes cruise in the blue, and Dive Timor Lorosae lists manta rays and grey reef sharks as lucky sightings. Wikivoyage adds orangutan crabs, masked batfish, bumphead parrotfish, humphead wrasse and turtles, as well as large fan corals. Whales can often be seen offshore around November. The current is strongest towards the eastern point.
