K57
Also known as: K 57 · Jim's Crack
The healthy reef is full of soft corals and large sponges, and Dive Timor Lorosae calls it a nudibranch paradise. Bommies, cracks and caverns are scattered over the sandier bottom along the slope, and light falling through the crevices creates striking scenes. Ornate ghost pipefish and bumphead parrotfish are lucky sightings, and Wikivoyage mentions razorfish and cleaner shrimps. Besides the jump from the rocks there is an easy beach entry at all tides. Silt from the nearby Manatuto River often reduces visibility, so the end of the dry season is the best time.
