Dili Rock West
Where its neighbour has wide sandy areas, Wannadive describes Dili Rock West as almost entirely coral, with plenty of reef fish living among it. Wannadive points to a large field of bulbous staghorn coral just west of the entry, busy with anthias and damselfish, and to plenty of anemones with their anemonefish. Below about 15 m the bottom becomes sandier, with huge barrel sponges, sea fans and whip corals. Nudibranchs, scorpionfish, shrimps and crabs hide in the shallows, and Dive Timor Lorosae lists pygmy seahorse, blue-ringed octopus and devil rays among its lucky finds. The site can be combined with Dili Rock East by swimming around the rock.
