Dili Pinnacle
Also known as: Pinnacle
A short boat ride from Dili, the pinnacle drops from its coral-covered top to a sandy bottom at about 40 m. Hard and soft corals cover the top and edges, and juvenile whitetip reef sharks hide under the rocks. Turtles, barracuda and jacks pass by often, and Dive Timor Lorosae has seen dolphins, sailfish and eagle rays here. Because the current can run hard, the site is dived around slack tide. Wikivoyage calls it a very challenging dive.
