Shinaria

Shinaria is one of the sites Dive2gether visits most often, because the bay stays calm when the north wind blows. Sand patches at different depths suit first dives and training, while the edges of the bay offer reef, natural channels, wall sections and huge canyons. Experienced divers can visit a cavern when conditions allow, which Scuba Diving Crete describes as a large cave on its route. Octopus and moray eels hide in the crevices, and pufferfish are often seen searching the sand for food.
