Amphorae Reef

Also known as: Amphora reef

The dive opens over a field of broken amphorae, the ceramic jars used in antiquity to ship wine and other goods. Horizon Diving describes the visibility as very good. Dusky groupers, moray eels, octopus and amberjack are seen around the reef. Both Heraklion operators present it as an easy site for every level.
