L'Aquarium

L'Aquarium sits in the recess on the northern flank of Grand Îlet, between Pointe Barracuda and the hot springs. Its plateau slopes gently and is busy with colourful corals and tropical fish. Glass-bottom boats visit it, which gave the site its name. The plateau is edged by a wall, and Les Heures Saines says profiles can reach 60 m, so the same site serves snorkellers, try dives and deep exploration.
