The Canyon

The seabed here steps down in a series of small drop-offs cut by narrow tunnels. Wedged between rocks lie the remains of a small Maltese fishing boat, which are breaking up. Fish life is modest, but at night starfish of many kinds, nudibranchs and crabs come out. Surge can occur despite the sheltered position.
