Santa Marija Reef
The reef is cut by many gullies, small caves and swim-throughs that make it good for wide-angle photography. Its rocks are thickly covered in algae, which draws large grazing schools of salema, bream and mullet. Groupers are easy to find here. An offshore pinnacle lies at its southern end next to the Santa Marija Caves. The site is exposed, so getting back on the boat can be difficult in swell.
