Sultan Rock

Huge boulders here are overgrown with algae such as sea cactus and peacock's tail. Wrasse of several species move through the Posidonia, and moray eels, painted combers and groupers can be found. Pieces of HMS Sultan, which came to grief at Comino, lie among the rocks. The site is sheltered from north-westerly winds but can be choppy.
