Lantern Point
Also known as: Ras L-Irqieqa · Lighthouse Reef · Outer Lantern Point
The dive begins at the mouth of an L-shaped chimney that drops through the limestone plateau to a wide tunnel exiting at about 16 to 18 m. Below the exit huge boulders lie against the wall and form caverns and swim-throughs. The wall itself continues to around 50 m and is covered in sponges. Moray eels, octopus, nudibranchs, fireworms and urchins live among the rocks, and amberjack and barracuda pass in open water. Because the point faces the open channel, it is one of the more demanding sites around Comino.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
