Crystal Lagoon
The lagoon itself is mostly 5 m deep or less and serves as a nursery for young fish. The dive usually begins with a well-lit tunnel of about 30 m that runs through the headland and exits a little deeper on the seaward side. Beyond it an overhang shaped like a rhino's head shelters groupers, and the base of Mushroom Rock, a pinnacle rising above the waves, hides lobster, octopus and cuttlefish. Flying gurnards cross the sand at the lagoon mouth. Heavy boat traffic in summer means divers should surface close to the shore.
