Jalan Masuk
The name means 'the way in', because the channel here is the only route for boats through the huge fringing reef around Nain. The wall and the wide flat reef above it carry sponges, hard and soft corals and acropora colonies. Bluespotted stingrays dart between sandy patches and the reef, and groups of bumphead parrotfish feed on the corals. Whitetip reef sharks are common, and Bunaken Divers reports occasional great hammerhead sharks.
