Bolung

Also known as: Bolung Point · Bulong

A sandy slope runs down from a shallow reef that also suits snorkellers. Frogfish, leaf scorpionfish, various pipefish and many nudibranchs are typical, and seahorses, cuttlefish and crocodilefish add to the list. The Village Bunaken mentions pygmy pipehorses hiding in piles of sea grass. Divernet and Wannadive both recommend it as a night dive, and Wannadive lists octopus and harlequin sweetlips.
