Black Rock

Also known as: Batu Hitam · DJ Point

Dive The World describes a slope near Manado where rocky patches hold a wealth of small creatures, and it is often the favourite dive of visitors. Commensal and emperor shrimps, decorator and candy crabs, cuttlefish, ribbon eels, cockatoo leaf fish and pipefish are typical finds. Wannadive suggests starting as a muck dive over the sand for ghost pipefish, stargazers and flounders before finishing on the shallow reef with harlequin sweetlips and mandarinfish. Thalassa runs many of its night dives here.
