SG 115 Coast Guard Wreck

Also known as: SG115 Coast Guard Wreck · TCG 115 wreck

SG 115 is a retired Turkish coast guard patrol boat that the Bodrum underwater association BOSAD sank in July 2007 to create an artificial reef near Karaada. The approach leads from the rocky shore across Neptune grass until the hull appears, with the stern at about 18 metres and the bow at about 26 metres. Experienced wreck divers can penetrate the 29-metre hull, while one diver-written entry calls it well suited to a first wreck dive. Squid lay their eggs on the mast, and groupers, jacks and barracuda gather around the hull depending on the season.
