Pınar 1 Wreck

Also known as: TCG Pinar-1 · Pinar 1

Pınar 1 was a Turkish Navy coast guard water tanker that BOSAD sank in May 2007 as an artificial reef between Bubble Cave and Poyraz Bay. The ship is 37 metres long and seven metres wide, with the stern at around 18 to 20 metres and the deepest parts beyond 30 metres. Divers can enter the large wheelhouse, where nudibranchs, tube worms and squid eggs cover the structures. On the way back to the boat, rock formations between 8 and 20 metres shelter groupers, moray eels and octopus, and amphorae lie in the area.
