Snake Pit

The eels look at first like a bed of fine sea grass swaying at one edge of the bowl. Visibility is especially clear in winter and spring. Fish tend to circle the bowl, so divers who stay still often see them come past. Being close to the marked North Channel, the site is used for night dives, and it combines well with a visit to the northern shipwrecks.
