Bathala Thila
Also known as: Bathalaa Thila
The top lies at around 6 to 10 metres and carries soft corals, table corals and red anemones. Overhangs surround the reef, where nurse sharks rest and frogfish, ghost pipefish and leaf scorpionfish hide. In moderate current divers can circle the whole thila, while strong current brings whitetip and grey reef sharks and eagle rays to its front. Schools of bigeye trevally hang in the blue or over the top.
