Hafsa Thila
Also known as: Hafusa Thila · Angotti
The thila has a small rounded top and widens with depth down to a sandy bottom. Because the top is fairly deep, divers usually make a fast descent to reach the reef before the current carries them past. Grey reef sharks are seen on almost every dive on the current side, while whitetip reef sharks prefer the sand. Eagle rays, schools of trevally, batfish, dogtooth tuna and fusiliers are common, and the walls have overhangs with black coral. Reef hooks are often used on the exposed corner.
