Rasdhoo Channel
The pinnacles in the channel rise to about 20 to 25 metres and the edge drops past 30 metres into the blue. Divers follow the edge of the drop-off along the seabed, ideally with a medium current pushing across and slightly into the atoll. Grey reef and whitetip sharks, eagle rays, turtles, tuna, barracuda and Napoleon wrasse are typical, and mantas and guitarfish are occasional surprises. Visibility can be poor and the current strong, so the site is for experienced divers.
