Madivaru Channel
Also known as: Madivaru Kandu
The channel corners start shallow and drop away to 30 metres and beyond, with deep overhangs on the walls. Divers follow the parallel and cross-running reef edges and look into the blue for sharks and larger fish. On the sand, stingrays and resting sharks are common, and eagle rays, snappers and triggerfish are frequent. It suits intermediate divers when the current is manageable.
