The Tank
Also known as: M42 Duster Tank · Tank Duster M42
The tracked vehicle was cleaned and then sunk largely as it was; SCUBA Travel credits the Jordanian Royal Ecological Diving Society with the sinking. It lies only a short swim from the beach and close to the Seven Sisters pinnacles. Soft corals and sponges now grow over the hull, turret and tracks, and schools of reef fish and lionfish surround it. Its many gaps hide shrimps, crabs, starfish and blennies, which makes it a good subject for macro photography. Many divers end dives at New Canyon or Seven Sisters with a safety stop here.
