Eel Canyons

Also known as: Eel Canyon

The canyons are a few metres deep and cut between two reefs, so divers can stay above or swim inside the channels. Garden eels cover the sand, and the walls hold many moray eels and lionfish under overhangs. One pinnacle is crowded with reef fish, and a swim-through in a large coral head rewards good buoyancy. Seagrass between 20 and 25 m hides thorny seahorses. Further out lies the technical area of Kirk's Forest and the Al Shorouk wreck.
