Rock Point West

Rock Point West sits at the end of the coral shelf that runs along Apo Island's west side, towards the tip of the island where the current picks up. A steep slope densely covered with hard and soft corals forms the dive. Depending on the current it is either a calm reef dive or a lively drift. Both hawksbill and green turtles are often seen here on the same dive. Banded sea snakes hunt through the coral, marbled groupers shelter in larger holes and jacks patrol the open water. Some groups start at Rock Point East and swim on towards this side.
