Largahan

Also known as: Largahan Point

Largahan means leaving, as it was traditionally the last site dived before boats left the island. Its most unusual feature is a sandy patch where streams of geothermal bubbles escape from the seabed, a reminder of Apo's volcanic origin. Hard and soft corals and coral bommies cover the reef, and a wall runs between 20 and 30 m. Hawksbill turtles are regularly seen around a large rock. On the sand, macro lovers find nudibranchs, flatworms, frogfish, scorpionfish and lionfish.
