Rock Point East

Rock Point East is a reef finger reaching out from the island's south-eastern corner, open to the prevailing currents. That exposure keeps fish life rich and occasionally brings pelagic visitors. The dive follows a wall into a steep coral slope and usually ends on the shallow reef, where turtles are seen on most dives. Octopus hide in holes in the reef, banded sea snakes hunt in the coral and nudibranchs reward a close look. It is often dived one way, sometimes continuing towards Rock Point West.
