Clown Valley
Also known as: Anemone City
Almost the entire seabed at this site is covered with anemones of many kinds, each housing anemonefish, which gives the site both of its names. Coral bommies are scattered across the slope, mixing hard and soft corals with the anemone fields, and sea apples can be found on them. Leaf scorpionfish, frogfish, nudibranchs, gobies and blennies reward a slow look. Because the site faces open water, larger animals such as thresher sharks and mola mola have been reported cruising past. Dive The World notes that a dive at Sharks Galore can end here when the current allows.
