Aquarium Wall
Aquarium Wall lies just off the Monterey Bay Aquarium on Cannery Row and belongs to the same protected reef complex as Hopkins Reef and McAbee Pinnacle. Abundant kelp grows among the rocks, and the reserve status has kept fish life healthy. Besides the drop-off, divers can follow the intake pipe that supplies the aquarium with fresh seawater. Local charter boats such as the Beachhopper II include it in their rotation, and a surface float is advisable because of boat traffic.
