Spiegel Grove

The Spiegel Grove sank prematurely and upside down during its scuttling in 2002, came to rest on its side, and in 2005 Hurricane Dennis pushed it upright. The wreck is so large that dive centres recommend at least two dives just to see the outside. Mooring lines are tied to the ship, and most of the dive happens on the superstructure and decks between about 70 and 90 feet. Goliath groupers, barracuda, large jacks and dense schools of fish live on the wreck. Penetration is only for divers with wreck training.
