Les Sources d'Eau Chaude

This site follows a fairly steep coral wall along the north-east side of Grand Îlet. Its feature is a series of hot freshwater springs linked to the island's volcanic activity, reported at roughly 18 to 19 m, 23 m and 40 m. Divers can be dropped a little off the site for a blue-water descent before joining the wall and climbing back to the mooring plateau at about 12 m. Small plateaus along the way hold coral, gorgonians and sponges. Les Heures Saines and the Centre de Plongée des Ilets also call the site the 'Bouée Anticyclonique'.
