Pipín
Pipín starts at a mooring on the reef at about 15 m, from where canyons and caves run perpendicular to the shore until they end at the drop-off at about 24 m. The reef edge is colourful and busy, with large schools of grunts, jacks and groups of tarpon. Turtles and eagle rays pass along the wall, and a great hammerhead occasionally rises from the deep. Silky sharks tend to circle near the surface and join divers during the safety stop, and Caribbean reef sharks are common as well. PADI picked it as one of twelve world-class shark dives, as Divernet reported.
