Black Coral II
Also known as: Black Coral 2
Black Coral II lies close to Black Coral I and is described together with it. The reef top is at about 24 m and channels with a sandy floor at about 30 m run across it to the drop-off. Caribbean reef sharks gather near the edge and come close to divers. Southern stingrays rest on the sand, while parrotfish, black groupers and schools of jacks move between the coral formations. LiveAboard.com mentions black coral colonies among the corals of both sites.
